Welcome to SPARK in Kesgrave, your local charity which seeks to turn your unwanted items  into play equipment, sports kits, or into funding support for the many sporting and leisure activities that thrive in our town.

SPARK is a Kesgrave based charity which has for many years helped to provide, develop and support numerous teams, groups and organisations in Kesgrave.  This may be starting up from scratch, buying new equipment or funding existing activities in Kesgrave.

SPARK recognises that due to the pandemic fund raising has not been able to take place, membership fees and subscriptions may have dropped off and generally funding for your team, group or organisation may have suffered.

SPARK has also had a reduced income due to the 2nd Stop Charity Shop in Kesgrave, from which it receives its funds, having been closed during the last year’s lockdowns.  However, with the roadmap in progress, the shop has now re-opened (from Monday 12th April 2021) when it can again offer a wide variety of excellent items for sale. At the moment the shop is not able to accept donations, but we will post an update as soon as we are able.

SPARK would like to remind those who run or organise activities in Kesgrave that help with funding is still available from us, subject to certain criteria which can be be found here.

This website also provides details as to who can apply, how to apply and includes examples of organisations who have received grants in the past.
