Another year passes and we are all feeling a pinch in the pocket for various reasons, and so it is at times like these that we often turn to sporting or recreational pastimes to raise our spirits, meet up with friends or just blow off some steam.
However, many clubs, groups and organisations are also feeling the pinch as the number of members decline or the cost of facilities increase, this is where SPARK may be able to help.
SPARK is a Kesgrave based charity which has for many years helped to provide, develop and support numerous teams, groups and organisations in Kesgrave. This may be starting up from scratch, buying new equipment or funding existing activities in Kesgrave.
SPARK raises all its funds from the 2nd Stop Charity Shop in Kesgrave, the shop relies on donations and more information can be found at www.facebook.com/2ndstop
The shop is managed by Lyndsey, assisted by Shelagh and many volunteers, and without their hard work SPARK could not help so many people in Kesgrave.
In 2022 SPARK made grants to many different organisations based in Kesgrave with the grants being used for a variety of purposes including equipment, sports clothing, hall or room hire charges.

Ipswich Walking Football Club (based at KWMCC all weather pitch)

Kesgrave Army Cadet Force
AFC Kesgrave U18
SPARK would like to remind those who run or organise activities in Kesgrave that help with funding is still available from SPARK, even if you have had a grant before and subject to certain criteria.
